After deciding what you would like to do most in life, the next step is making a good plan on how you imagine arriving there. While sketching it, you will be surprised to discover that there are actually more than one paths towards your magic fountain.

At the beginning everything seemed impossible and crazy. Framing it in a plan, my idea to switch to Interior Design and go to Italy took shape like an invisible man, that once dressed I could see him walking.

In the summer of 2009 I started searching some good Interior Design schools and I found the Istituto Europeo di Design with branches in Sao Paulo, Barcellona and Milan. The later was my first choice so I started a correspondence with them and in the end I was accepted to the one year intensive course, scheduled to start five months later. I had practically five months to close completely a life chapter and open a brand new one.

Soon my house start looking like an auction place with prices on almost all furniture objects. My advice to whoever arrives at a similar point is to sell as much as possible, minimizing luggages, boxes and storage space and avoid storring the old life in a garage. There’s a high chance you won’t open it again.
