Milan is my favorite design city and my home for five awesome years. So many things that nourish the eye and mind that is difficult even to pick one for a start.
As it was recently opened and made great rumor around, I went to see Fondazione Prada, a place that its founders wanted not polluted with fashion but with exclusive art pieces.
Beautifully designed by Rem Koolhaas, one of the most en vogue architects, the place is divided in more exhibiting spaces, each with its specific and its temporary or permanent collection.
Robert Gobert, Louse Bourgeois, Damien Hirst and many others pieces of fine and particular art are to be found in this unique spot. Plus a very fine collection of antique classic statues displayed in a open space layered with marble floor on different levels (bright idea).
If you also wanna see a broken heart thrown away into a watter canal but still beating with hope, just go there. I loved it!
